MY Services

Let me share with you what a typical garden coaching session looks like.

 

1. When I arrive at your home, I would like to see the area that is needing improvement and a little history on the garden space. This helps me as a garden coach better understand your microclimate.

2. If you have a full property of projects, we will take them in strides, one project at a time, making a plan for each one.  If you have gardens that need better maintenance practices, I will come up with a year-round maintenance plan for the garden.

3. When we come up with a plan, we will talk about materials that are needed, including -soil, mulch, boulders, rock borders and water wise plants. I will also give advice on business references I trust from landscaping companies to arborists to garden centers.

​

4. If the plan is to redo your garden, I will do a sketch on site for the design and placement of the plants. Ready for you to show HOAs/ or whomever this may help when our session is complete.

5.  I want to give a kind reminder that I am an advisor, I do not have a crew, this is you and me coming up with a plan so we can find the best companies to help you successfully complete your project. Make sure you book the proper amount of time for all that needs to be discussed and planned.

In this garden coaching hour, we can discuss anything from soil health to tree care or annual garden maintenance. Whatever the concern, we can come up with a plan together to make sure you can fully enjoy this space.  

If you're noticing bare spots in your garden or need to add some fresh new life to a dull unattended area, this is where new eyes, and a bright helpful perspective can liven up this landscape.
